The holiday season is here, and it's time to enjoy fun, festive events close to many
Lewisburg homes for sale. With so many exciting options, it's hard to decide which events to attend. Here are some of the top local holiday events to celebrate the season.
1. A Showing of "It's a Wonderful Life" at Campus Theatre
If you've never seen "It's a Wonderful Life," or if you're ready to give this classic holiday flick a re-watch, attend a
free showing at the Campus Theatre. On Sunday, December 19th, the movie will play from 2-4 pm. The Campus Theatre is located at 413 Market Street in downtown Lewisburg. After the movie,

2. A Night in Santa's Workshop Event
A Night in Santa's Workshop is a family-friendly event held at Ard's Farm on December 17th from 5:30-8:30 pm. Ard's Farm is located at 4803 Old Turnpike Road in Lewisburg. You'll need to buy a ticket for kids between the ages of 2 and 12, but adults are free. This festive evening includes crafts, games, hot chocolate, Christmas caroling, a Christmas read-along with Mrs.Claus, and a visit from Santa himself.
3. Enjoy a Christmas Concert
There's nothing like an evening of jovial Christmas music to celebrate the season. United Pentecostal Church invites you to attend their Christmas concert on Saturday, December 18th, at 6:00 pm. Proceeds from the concert benefit the Helping Hands charitable mission. The church is located at 2822 Buffalo Road in Lewisburg.
4. Visit with Santa Claus at Kratzerville Volunteer Fire Company
Take a break from looking at

visiting with Santa. Children of all ages are encouraged to share their wishlists with Santa at the Kratzerville Volunteer Fire Company from 6-8 pm on Thursday, December 16th. The event is free, but it's requested that attendees bring a toy to donate to Toys for Tots. There will also be food available for you to order.
5. Check Out the Lewisburg Polar Bear Plunge
On February 5th, at 2 pm, brave the chilly waters of the Susquehanna River at the
Lewisville polar bear plunge. This event is $15 in advance ($20 the day of), and you'll even receive a hat to commemorate your icy afternoon. All proceeds will benefit Lewisburg Neighborhoods, an organization that works to revitalize, preserve, and improve downtown Lewisburg.
